Hi, I'm Rebecca!
Welcome to Happy People Paper Goods! I am the artist behind all of the designs you'll find in our shop. I'm a life long crafter and creative trouble maker so I have always been an artist, but Happy People has been a part of my life and family for about five years. The name arrived while on one of my soapboxes. I said "I just want to make people happy!" and that was the beginning of this wild and wonderful ride.
What's in the Card Club?
I want to send you some Happy Mail! Each month will feature a themed collection of goodies for you to treasure or share, including...

The artwork will always be brand new and the theme will be a surprise, but it should feel like a warm familiar hug from the same Happy People Paper Goods you've come to know and love. Each month will also include a little note from me to share the inspiration behind the theme.
Why Happy Mail?
About a year and a half ago I was hit with an overwhelming wave of depression. The question emerged - what do I do when the artist behind the happy isn't quite so joyful anymore, and I stopped making art. And it was heartbreaking.
Leaping to today, it has taken quite a bit of time and a lot of work to be back at the helm of my creative practice, but the pencils are sharpened and the collection of craft supplies is as colorful as ever. There are a lot of reasons why making art is hard right now, but I'm going back to my purpose. I want to bring joy and heartfelt connection to people even if just for a moment. A brief pause amongst hardship and a permission slip to take a break.
